History

Project UCSD was started in 2002 by Jonathan Kuo and Jason Tongbai. Their initial goal was to create a UCSD professor rating system for their fellow students. Though never really marketed, the site has attracted thousands of students and currently have more than three thousand ratings.

Before graduation Jonathan and Jason started to work on the second project, CampusCalendar. The goal of the calendar system is to provide a platform for student organizations to share their event information. Fellow students can then visit the CampusCalendar page and find out exciting events happening on campus.

Project UCSD moved off ACS server and started its new residency in IWDC in October 2006. Many things happened . We lost our domain UCSDProfessor.com. We found out we need to do some work to have codes working again on Windows Server that IWDC use. Due to the heavy school load of our staffs, few efforts were put in to completing the migration.

  1. Please, push for discussion.
In light of the recent events, campus discussions would be a wise approach. Let people hear all sides.

Jacob Needleman has an approach that could very well prove to aid in peoples personal awareness of conflicting perscectives.

Here is a YouTube video that discusses this approach:

Cruel and hurtful actions may be born out of the inability to really hear each other.

I’m emailing now after watching a Democracy Now broadcast.

Saddened, but hopeful that relationships between all people can improve,
